Preparing my talk/poster

For abstracts selected for short oral presentations:

The program includes 15min slots per speaker. Your presentation should include a talk of 10min maximum (in English, prepared in PowerPoint), which will be followed by additional 5min of questions and discussion. The session moderators will strictly keep time.

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows, whose abstracts were selected for short oral presentations, benefit from EFIS-EJI Support for Young Investigators.
To be eligible for this grant, participants must consent that their personal information is shared with EFIS and are expected to acknowledge EFIS-EJI support in their presentations.

Failure in sending the complete form will result in retraction from the list of EFIS beneficiaries.

For abstracts selected for ‘poster pitch’ presentations:

Participants should prepare their posters as described below.

IN ADDITION, participates will have each 3min to present their work, during the first session of LC2023 on the morning of June 8th, 2023. Your presentation should include three slides (in English, prepared in PowerPoint):
Slide 1: Title + Affiliation + Acknowledgements
Slide 2: Introduction + Methodology
Slide 3: Main Results + Significance

For abstracts selected for posters:

Posters should be set up on the morning of June 8th, 2023. Your poster should be prepared in English and in A0 format: 841mm (width) x 1189mm (height).
